RESOLUTION No. 918

3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF VERNON, CALIF-
ORNIA AUTHORIZING AND INSTRUCTING THE MAYOR-AND CITY CLERK OF
4 THE CITY OF VERNON TO EXECUTE AN EASEMENT BETWEEN THE LAS VEGAS
LAND & WATER COMPANY AND THE CITY OF VERNON.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, the Las Vegas Land & Water Company has pre-
8 sented to the City of Vernon an easement, numbering C.L.D. No.
9 1979; and
10 WHEREAS, said agreement of Easement has been ap-
11 proved by the City Attorney as to form; and
12 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon is
13 desirous of accepting said easement so that it may construct,
14 maintain and operate a sewer across Lot 22 mentioned in said
15 easement,
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1: That the Mayor of said City of Vernon and
18 the City Clerk thereof be authorized, instructed and empowered
19 to sign, for and in behalf of the City, said Agreement between
20 Las Vegas Land & Water Company ~nd the City of Vernon, grant-
21 ing said easement to the City of Vernon.
22 Section 2: All resolutions, heretofore adopted in
23 confliction with this resolution are hereby rescinded.

Section 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the pass-
age of this resolution, and thereupon and thereafter the same
shall be in fUll force and effect.
