RESOLUTION NO. 1006
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DECLARING
THE PREVAILING RATE PER DIEM WAGES TO BE USED IN THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A WASTE WATER DRAIN IN FIFTY-SEVENTH STREET, AWlEDA STREET
AND IN "PIPE LINE EASEMENT" ACROSS THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY'S
RIGHT OF WAY IN ALAMEDA STREET, RESPECTIVELY, IN THE CITY OF
VERNON, CALIFOR1'ifIA, AND IN ALAMEDA STREET IN THE CITY OF LOS
ANGELES, CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of
Vernon does he~eby find and declare that the prevailing rate per
diem wages fer laborers, workmen and mechanics employed by con-
~ractors and sub-contractors for the doing of any work for the
City of Vernon as described in Specifications No. 123, is as
follows:

minimum per diem wages shall be the general prevailing wages for
the locality, and shall be not less than $4.00 per day.
The foregoing schedule of per diem wages is based upon
a worming day of eight (8) hours. The hourly wage rate shall
be the per diem rate divided 'by the aforementioned number of
hours constituting a working day.

Section 2: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
is directed to certify to the passage of this resolution, and
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
