RESOLUTION NO. 962.

3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON" WITH-
DRAWING FROM THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY FREE LmRARY SYSTEM" AND
4 NOTIFYING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
THAT THE CITY OF VERNON NO LONGER DESIRES TO BE A PART OF THE
5 LOS ANGELES COUNTY FREE LIBRARY SYSTEM.
6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: That the City of Vernon" from and after the
8 date of this Resolution no longer desires to bea part of the
9 Los Angeles, County Free Library System.
10 Section 2: That the Board of Supervisors of the County
11 of Los Angeles be notified that from and after the date of the
12 adoption of this Resolution the City of Vernon no longer desires
13 to be a part of the Los Angeles County Free Library-System.

Section 3: That the City Clerk shall certify to the

Section 4: That this Resolution shall be in full torce
21 and effect from and after the date of tiling a certified copy
22 of same with the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los
23 Angeles.

7 I, T. J. FURLONG, being duly sworn, depose:. and say:
8 Tha t I am now, and during all the times herein
9 mentioned was, the duly qualified and acting City Clerk of the
10 City of Vernon, County of Los Angeles, State of California;
11 that on the 17th day of January, 1939, pursuant to an Order
12 of the City Council of the City of Vernon, I did post a copy
13 of the attached Notice in three most public places in the City
14 of Vernon, to-wit: at the northwest corner of 38th Street
15 and Santa Fe Avenue; at the northwest corner of 37th Street
16 and Santa Fe Avenue, and on the bulletin board in the lobby
17 of the City Hall of the City of Vernon, located at 1305 Santa
18 Fe Avenue in said City; and that said Notices were posted

9 the Council chambers in the City Hall of the City of Vernon,
10 located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, Vernon, California, vote upon
11 Resolution No. 962, a resolution entitled:
