"0( gz 26 ~o:: >- <c 0 - C u...'" 27 lib. ii!:i:: Ull&lz~o(Z ...c(z~<cu~ oUO::~"'li~ 28 .. 0> 00:: ~ !!>I:...~o(~ I::Ulo(o<co.~ 29 Oc(>-~lDZ~ ....t-...o% "'000..... o "i~ ~ :r: ~Z~ 30 I- '" j: ... ~~ 31 ii::r: 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 c " .. 1 RESOLUTION NO. 965 2 3 4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, CALIF- ORNIA, AUTHORIZING AND INSTRUCTING FRANCIS BATES, CITY ENGINEER OF THE CITY OF VERNON, TO FILE AN AMENDED APPLICATION ON BEHALF OF TEE CITY OF VERNON TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, THROUGH THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR A GRANT TO AID IN FINANCING THE COMPLETION OF THE IMPROVEMENT NECESSARY TO CARRY THE STORM WATERS INTO TEE LEOnS BOULEVARD STORM DRAIN SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF VERNON, AND INSTRUCTING TEE CITY ENGINEER TO FURNISH SUCH INFORMATION AS THE GOVERNMENT MAY REQUEST. 5 6 7 8 9 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That Francis Bates6 City Engineer of the City of Vernon be6 and he is, authorized6 instructed and em- powered to file an amended application for and on behalf of the City of Vernon to the United States of America, through the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works for a grant to aid in financing the completion of the improvement necessary to carry the storm waters into the Leonie Boulevard Storm Drain System of the City of Vernon6 said storm drain being designated by the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works as "Docket No. Calif. 2169-F. tt 20 Section 2: That Francis Bates6 as such City Engineer6 of the City of Vernon6 is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information as the United States of America, through its Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works6 may reaaonablr request in connection with the amended application6 which is hereby authorized to be filed. Section 3: The City of Vernon's share of costs for the improvement contemplated in the amended application for the doing of the work necessary to the successful, efficient functioning of the Leonis Boulevard Storm Drain System is now 21 22 23 24 25 available.
