RESOLUTION NO. 967
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF VERNON, CALIF-
ORNIA, ACCEPTING A DEEP WELL TURBINE PUMP AND APPURTENANCES,
UNDER DOCKET NO. Oalif. 2l71-F, Contract No.2, for TURBINE PUMP
FOR VERNON, CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT WHEREAS, the City has heretofore entered into a
contract with the Peerless Pump Division, Food Machinery Cor-
poration, for the furnishing and installing a deep well turbine
pump and appurtenances, in accordance with Contract dated Jan-
uary 13, 1939, Specifications No. 116, PWA Project, Docket:
Calif. 217l-F, being designated "Contract No.2" under said
docket number; and
WHEREAS, the said Contractor did furnish and install
said deep well turbine pump and appurtenances under the super-
vision of the City Engineer of said City; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer did file with the City
Council his recommendation for the acceptance of said work, said
ing
recommendation be/dated February 20, 1939;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
doe s here by accept, for and in the name of the Oi ty,' the deep
well turbine pump and appurtenances in accordance with the con-
tract dated January 13, 1939, between the Peerless Pump Division
Food Machinery Corporation, as the Contractor, and said City,
all of said work being done under PWA Project, Docket: Calif.
217l-F, and Specifications No. 116.
Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this Resolution, and thereupon and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
