1 RESOLUTION NO. 968
2 A RESOLUTION OF' THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF VERNON, CALIF-
ORNIA, ACCEPTING THE REMOVAL AND RECONSTRUCTION OF A RESERVOIR
3 ROOF, UNDER DOCKET NO. Calif. 2l71-F, Contract No.1, for
RESERVOIR ROOF, for VERNON, CALIFORNIA.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
6 THAT WHEREAS, the City has heretofore entered into a
7 contract with OBERG BROTHERS, for the removal and reconstruction
8 of a reservoir roof, in accordance with Contract dated December
Calif.
9 13, 1938, Specifications No. 117, PWA Project, Docket:/2l71-F,
10 being designated "Contract No.1" under said docket number; and
11 WHEREAS, the said Contractor did remove and reconstruct
12 said reservoir roof under the supervision of the City Engineer
13 of said City; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Engineer did file with the City Council
15 his recommendation for the acceptance of said work, said re-
16 commendation being dated February 17, 1959;
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
18 Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
19 does hereby accept, for and in the name of the City, the reser-
20 voir roof, constructed in accordance with the contract dated
21 December 15, 1938, between OBERG BROTHERS, as the Contractor,
22 and said City, all of said work being done under PWA Project,
23 Docket: Calif. 2171-F, and Specifications No. 117.
24 Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
25 of this Resolution, and thereupon and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
