RESOLUTION NO. 982

3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA,
.RESPECTFULLY REQ,UESTING AN EXTENSION OF TIME TO COMPLETE THE WORK
4 PROPOSED UNDER CONTRACT NO.2, DOCKET CALIF. 2l69-F, STREET AND
SEWER IMPROVEMENT, VERNON CALIFORNIA.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
7 Section 1: That the City of Vernon hereby respectfully
8 requests the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works to
9 extend the time for the completion of Contract No.2 for the im-
10 provements in connection with Docket Calif. 2l69-F, Sewers and
11 Street Improvements, Vernon California, for a period of one huri-
12 dred (100) days beyond June 30, 1939.
13 Section 2: The work remaining to be done upon said
14 project No. Calif. 2169-F, consists of the improvement of Magnolia
15 and Boyle Avenues, respectively, between Leonis Boulevard and
16 Vernon Avenue in said City of Vernon; said work includes grading,
17 paving and construction of gutters, and the estimated cost for
18 improvements is the sum of $11,396.00.

Section 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
20 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution, and thereupon
21 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
