A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON EMPLOTING
OtMELVENY, TULLERy& :MYERS, Attorneys-at-law, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
ASSISTING WITH.THE BOND ISSUE OF CITY OF VERNON SEWER DISTRICT.NO.
ONE .AND RENDERING THEIR OPINION UPON THE BONDS AS ISSUED.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES ImSOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
7 TEAT WHEREAS, the City of Vernon is desirous of em-
8 ploying Ot}\;1ELVENY, TULLER & MYERS, Attorneys-at-law, in connection
9 with the bond issue of City of Vernon Sewer District No. One, and
10 for the. ,purpose of securing from them their opinion upon the bonds
11 as issued; and
12 WHEREAS, the said firm of O'Melveny, Tuller & Myers
13 has agreed to undertake said employment for the total compensation
14 of Seven Hundred Dollars ($700.00), $250.00 of which is to be
15 paid on or about July 10, 1939, and the balance upon the completion
16 of the work,
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
18 Section 1: That the City of Vernon shall employ the
19 firm of OtMelveny, Tuller & Myers, Attorneys-at-law, in connect-
20 ion with the bond issue of City of Vernon Sewer District No. One,
21 for the purpose of seCuring from them their opinion upon the bonds
22 as issued, and for such services to pay the sum of $250.00 on or
23 about the 10th day of July, 1939, and the further sum of $450.00
24 when said work has been completed, or a total of $700.00.

Section 2: That the Qity Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this resolution, and thereupon and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
