1 RESOLUTION 995
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROVING
THE APPOINTMENT OF THE BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES.

4 THE CITY"COUNelL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, J. J. Furlong, the Mayor of the City of Vernon
6 did report to the City Council that he had appointed all members
7 of the City Council of said City to act as the Board of Library
8 Trustees; and
9 WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Vernon has requested
10 the Council to consent to said appointment,
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
13 do hereby consent to the appointment of J. J. Furlong, J. B.
14 Leonis, E. R. Peralta, Richard Levy and Herman Scheider as the
15 Bca rd of Library Trustees of the City of Vernon.

Section 2: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
17 shall certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon
18 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

of Vernon, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 995
was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Vernon, and
