R.ESOLUTION NO. 998
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROVING
THE CLAIM OF THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES IN THE SUM OF $50,000.00.

4 TEE. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, the City of Los Angeles has presented to the
6 City of Vernon a claim in the sum of $118,820.30; and
7 WHEREAS, the City~ Vernon desires to pay on account
8 the sumot $50,000.00, and to pay the balance of said claim out
9 of monies · received from the sale of bonds of City of Vernon
10 Sewer Di stric t. No.. One,
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
12 Section 1: That the City Tre~surer of the City of Vernon
13 is he:reby . instructed and empowered to pay the City of Los Angeles,
14 upon their claim of $118,820.30 the sum of $50,000.00.

Section 2: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
16 certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
17 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
