3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AWARDING
THE CONTRACT FOR THE WOR~ .DESCRIBED IN THE NO~ICEINVITING SEALED
4 PROPOSALS OR BIDS AND SPECIFICATIONS NO. 123.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS" the City Council of the City of Vernon did,
7 in open session, on the 19th day of December, 1939, open, eX-

8 amine and declare the sealed proposals or bids for the doing of
9 oertain work in said City under and pursuant to a Notice Invi t-
10 ing sealed proposals or bids for the doing of said work, desc:ribed
11 in said Notice and in Specifications No.. 123, he:retofore approved
12 by the City Council of the City of Vernon on the 21st day of
13 November, 1939, by Resolution No. 1005; said Resolution is now
14 on file in the office of the City Clerk, and is hereby eXpressly
15 referred to for further particulars.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
17 Section 1: That the said City Council hereby .rejects
18 all of said proposals or bids except the next herein mentioned,
19 and hereby awards ~he contract for doing said work and improve-
20 ment to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit, P. & J. ARTUKOVICH
21 at the price named in its bid.

Section 2: The City Attorney of the City of Vernon ia
hereby authorized and instructed to prepare the necessary con-
tract, to conform with the Notice Inviting Sealed Propos~ls or
Bids, Specifications No. 1~3, and this Resolution of Award, for,
and on behalf of the City of Vernon.
Section 5: The City Clerk of the City o.f Vernonia.. hereby
directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution, a.ndthere-
upon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
