3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CI~L COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING
THE COMPENSATION OF THE CITY ENGINEER

The City Council of the City of Vernon Does Resolve as Fo+lows:
Section 1: The salary of Francis Bates, beginning on
February 1, 1941, shall be as follows:
As City Engineer of the City of Vernon $100.00 per month;
As Superintendent of Sewers $100,00 per month;
As Assistant Superintendent of Streets $100,00 per month;
As Superintendent and General Manager of the Water DeI>~r~-

ment $250,00 per month.
This salary shall be paid semi-monthly and each salary sb,all
be charged to the respective departments for which he is employed.
Section 2a The salaries hereinabove stated shall begin as
of February 1, 1941, and shall continue at the pleasure of the
Board,
Section 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect,
