RESOLUTION NO. 1036
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING THE
COMPENSATION OF THE ASSISTANT CITY ENGINEER
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1:
The salary of Walter B, Hollingworth, beginning
February 1, 1941, shall be as follows:
As Assistant City Engineer of the City of Vernon $66.67 per month;
As Assistant Superintendent of Sewers of Vernon $66.67 per month;
Maintenance Department
As Assistant Superintendent of Streets of Verno~$66.66 per month;
As Assistant Superintendent and Assistant General Manager of the
~ater Department of the City of Vernon $150.00 per month,
This salary shall be paid semi-monthly and each salary shall
be charged to the respective departments for which he is employed;
and his duties shall be under the supervision of Francis Bates,
the City Engineer.
Section 2: The salaries hereinabove stated shall begin as of
February 1, 1941, and shall continue at the pleasure of t he Board.
Section 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect .
