WHEREAS, the Oity Councilor the Cit1 or Vernon is or
the opinion. that the public intereat, health, comfort, con-
venience, pre.ervation of the puolic peace, satety, meral.,
orc!ler aDd the public w.ltare ot the Oit7 ot Vernon require and
w111 b.at be .erved 01 the creation or aon.s or d1str10t.
within the City of Vernon and 07 the regulation, re.triction
and ..gregation ot the location of industries, busine.s.s, trade.
or callings, and br adopting regulations in one or more ot sa1d
districts which mal differ trom those 1n other districts, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney and the City Engineer, at
the request ot the C1t1 Council, have recommended the ereatiOfl
of eight (8) separate districta or sones within the city of
Vernon, and have prepared or caused to be prepared Jlaps showing
the exterior boundaries or each of sald eight (6) proposed dia-
trlcts, and have recommended certain regulationl and r._tr10-
tiOl1I to .0. adopted tor each ot said dlstriot. or zone., and
the C1ty Council has completed ita prel1a1na17 investigation of
the nec.saity for the creation ot di.tricts or zonea within the
City of Vernon and tor the classification or reclas81.ficatlOD.

at the hour of 3100 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chamber. at
the Cit7 Hall, C1ty of Vernon, be and the same 18 hereby
fued as the time and place when and where all persona par-
ticularl,. interested and the general public ahall have an
opportunity to be heard upon sald tentative report, ineludlng
the tentative mapa ot d1strict. or zone. attached thereto,
and then and there to make and tile any and all ob jeotiona to

and to be published in said dally newspaper not leaa than
three (3) time. wi thin the week in which said hear1J1g 18 to
be 'held. and that 8ald City Clerk is t'urther ordered to post
said notice. 1n three (3) public plaoe. located 1n the City of
Vernon, to wit. one on the bullet1J1 board in the lobby of the
City Hall of the City of Vernon, 4305 Sante Fe Avenue, one
at the lforthw.st corner ot 38th street and Sante Fe Avenue.
