RESOLUTION NO. 1043
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITIZENS NATIONAL TRUST AND SAVINGS BANK TO ACCEPT
THE SIGNATURE OF G. A, ANDERSON, DEPUTY CITY CLERK, UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE, IN LIEU OFT~ SIGNATURE OF T, J. FURLONG ON CITY OF
VERNON CHECKS,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, T, J, Furlong, City Clerk of the City of

Vernon is now confined to his home with illness; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary that the signature of T, J.
Furlong as City Clerk be on all checks drawn upon the Citizens
National Trust and Savings Bank; and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to have
G. A. Anderson, Deputy City Clerk sign checks in lieu of the
City Clerk during the illness of the said City Clerk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1:
That G. A. Anderson, Deputy City Clerk,

be authorized to sign City of Vernon checks drawn upon the
Citizens National Trust And Savings Bank during the illness of
T, J, Furlong, City Clerk.

Section 2:
That the Citizens National Trust and Sav-
ings Bank be, and they are hereby, authorized and requested to
honor the signature of G. A, Anderson, as deputy city clerk,
in lieu of the signature of T, J, FUrlong, City Clerk, during
the illness of the said City Clerk.
Section 3: Owing to the illness of the City Clerk,
T. J. Furlong, the Deputy Ci ty Cler"G. JA.. Anderson is hereby
authorized, instructed, and empowered to certify to the passage
of this resolution, and thereupon the same shall be in full
force aM effect and shall remain in effect until the City
