3 A RESOLUTION OF T BE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, CALI-
FORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF VERNON TO ACCEPT
4 THE SIGNATURE OF G. A. ANDERSON, DEPUTY CITY CLERK, UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE, IN LIEU OF THE SIGNATURE OF T, J, FURLONG ON CITY OF
5 VERN ON CHECKS. '
6 THE CI TY C OUNC IL OF T HE CITY OF VERN ON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, T, J. Furlong, City Clerk of the City of
8 Vernon is now confined to his home with illness; and
9 WHEREAS, it is necessary that the signature of T. J.
10 Furlong as City Clerk be on all checks drawn upon the First
11 National Bank of Vernon; and
12 W~REAS, it is the desire of the City Counoil to have
13 G, /A. Anderson" Deputy City Clerk sign checks in lieu of the
14 City Clerk during the illness of the said City Clerk;
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1:
That Ge A, Anderson, Deputy City Clerk,
17 be authorized to sign City of Vernon checks drawn upon the
18 First NationalEank of Vernon during the illness of T, J.
19 Furlong" City Clerk.

Section 2:
That the First National Bank of Vernon
21 be" and it is hereby, authorized and requested to honor the
22 signature of G. A. Anderson, as Deputy City Clerk, in lieu of
23 the signature of T. J. Furlong, Ci ty Clerk, during the illness
24 of the said City Clerk.

Section 3:
Owing to the illness of the City Clerk,
