RESOLUTION NO, ~052
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE OITIZENS NATIONAL. TRUST AND
SAVINGS BANK '.1'0 HEREAFTER ACOEPT THE SIGNATURES UPON ALL
OHECKS DRAWN UPON THE FUNDS OF THE CITY OF VERNON SIGNED
BY THE OITY TREASURER, F, G, FRENCH AND COUNTERSIGNED BY
T, J, FURLONG, AS C IT1r CLERK OR G, A, ANDERS ON, AS DEPUTY
CITY CLERK, THE CITY OOUNCIL DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council
of the Oity of Vernon, Galiforniato eliminate certa.in
signatures from the checks drawn upon the City funds,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1: That the Citizens National Trust and
..
Savings Bank is hereby respectfully requested to accept
the signature of either T, J,Furlong as City Clerk, or
G, A. Anderson as Deputy Oity Clerk, with the signature
of F. G. French as City Treasurer of the City of Vernon
in lieu of the signatures now required,
Section 2: That the Citizens National Trust and
Savings Bank be and it is hereby authorized anSi reql.lested
to honor the signatures upon all checks countersigned by
T, J, Furlong as City Clerk, or G, A. Anderson as Deputy
City Clerk with the signature of F, G, French as City
Treasurer.
Section 3: All Resolutions and parts of Resolutions
in conflict with this Resolution be and the sa.me are
hereby repealed,
Section 4: The Oi ty Clerk shall certif'y to the
passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter
the same shall remain in effect until the City Oouncil
of the City of Vernon repeals the same by another Resolution,
Adopted and approved this July 1, 1941.
