3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE WITHDRAWING OF CERTAIN MONIES.

THE CITY COUNCIL 0 F THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:

Section l: That the City Treasurer of the .
City of Vernon be and he is hereby authorized, instructed
and empowered to draw a check and have same certified,
or purchase a cashier's check in the sum of Forty Seven
Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-five and 28/100ths ($47,925.28)
Dollars, payable to the County Clerk of Los Angeles Oounty.
Section 2:-Said check so drawn and deposited
shall be -for the purpose of taking immediate possession
of the land sough~to be condemned by the City of Vernon
and described in the complaint now on file in the Superior
Court of the State of Oalifornia in and for the Oounty of
Los Angeles, said case being numbered 4678l6.

Section 3: The amount of Forty Seven Thousand
Nine Hundred Twenty-five and 28jlOOths ($47,925.28) Dollars
so fixed to be deposited in said Court for the taking of
immedia te possession of said land is based upon the Affidavit
of Jas. R. Johnston, a real estate broker and appraiser.
Section 4: The City Cle~k 0 f ,the City of Vernon
is hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution
and thereupon and thereafter same shall be in fUll force and
e.~fect.

1941 .
