A. RESOLUT.ION OF' THE .OITY COUNCIL OF THE OITY OF VERNON
AWARDING TO THE HARRY M. WESTFALL THE CONTRAOT FOR OERTAIN
IMPROVENENTSTO BE MADE AS SET FORTH IN SPEOIFIOATION NO.

THE OITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, the City haa heretofore publicly .dve~-.
tised for.bicis for the construction of Municipal Housing
Units andapPllrtenances to be made in the City of Vernon,

WHEREAS, Harry M. West.tiall has filed a proposal
or bid for the doing of the work specified in Specification
No. 129 and the Notice;Jinviting sealed proposals or bids
for the sum of Fifty Eight Thousand Six Hundred Forty
(toB,640.00) Dollars, and
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon is desirous of award-
ing the contract for the doing of the work set forth in
Specification No. l29, and Notice inviting sealed proposals
or bids to the Harry. M. Westfall,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section l: That all bids heretofore received
for the doing o.f the work set forth in Specification No.
129 and the Notice inviting sealed proposals or bids be-1and
the same are hereby rejected except the bid of Harry M.
Westfall and that he be and he is hereby awarded the
contract for the doing of the said work for the sum of
Fifty Eight Thousand Six Hundred Forty ($5B,640.00) Dollars.
Section 2: That the City Clerk be and he is hereby
authorized, instructed and empowered to return all checks
received by hint to all unsuccessful bidders.

Sect.ion 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
is hereby directed to certify to the passage 0'1' this
