A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C:rI'Y OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT OF JAS. R. JOHNSTON AS APPRAISER
IN CONDEliNATION. PROCEEDINGS AUTHORIZED BY RESOLUTION NO.
l086.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:

WHEREA~, the City Council of the City of Vernon
has instructed the City Attorney to bring an action to
condemn certain lands set forth in Resolution No. 1086,

ordering said condemnation, and

WHEREAS, it will be necessary to employ an
12
appraiser to appraise said land, and
13
WHEREAS, the City Attorney of the City of Vernon
14
has recommended the employment of one, Jas. R. Johnston as
15
appraiser to appraise said property to be condemned,

Section 2: That said Jas. R.. Johnston as
21

appraiser will be allowed reasonable compensation for his
services to be approved by the City Council.
Section 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
is hereby directed to certify to the passage of this
Resolution and thereupon and thereafter same shall be in full

force and effect.
