3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT OF ONE, MR. JAOK GRIFFIN AS
4 ENGINEERING CLERK AT A SALARY OF ONE HUNDRIDTWENTY AND NO/lOQ>~hs
($l20.00) DOLLARS PER MONTH.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY O:B' VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS
6 FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, 1w. Geo. Schley has resigned the office
8 of Engineering Clerk, and
9 WHEREAS, it is the desire of t he City Council of
10 the City of Vernon to employ someone in his place and stead,
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1: That Mr. Jack Griffin be and he is
13 hereby employed as engineering clerk f~ the City of Vernon
14 at a salary of $120.00 per month.

Section 2: That Mr. Jack Griffin shall be employed
at the pleasure of the board.
Section 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the

passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
19
same shall rem[l in in effect until further order of the City
20
Council.
