A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ESTABLISH-
ING A POLLING PLACE, APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICERS TO CONDUCT AN
ELECTION TO BE HELD APRIL l4, 1942, AND FIXING THEIR COMPENSATION.
THE CITY COUNOIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That at the general Oity election to be
held at the Oity Hall in the City of Vernon, California~ April
14~ 1942, there shall be one voting precinct in said City, and
the polling place of said precinct shall be in the lobby of
the City Hall of said City" located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue,
Vernon, California.
Section 2: That the election officers to conduct
the said general municipal election to be held on Tuesday,
,',I':
April 14, 1942, are hereby appointed and designated as follows:
Inspector: (1) Charles W. Trowbridge
Judge: (l) Arnetti Towne
Clerks: (2) Roberta M. Poxon
Gladys Hoffmann
Each election officer aforementioned, being an elector and
residing in the City of Vernon, and the compensation of said
election officers shall be Ten ($10.00) Dollars for his or her
services at said election.
Section 3: The Oity Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution,
and, thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
Adopted and approved this lOth day of March, 1942.
