A RESOLUTION OF THE OITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 DECLARING THE PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES TO BE USED
BY THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER IN CARRYING OUT THE CONTRACT FOR
4 THE FURNISHING OF ALL LABOR~ MATERIAL, TRANSPORTATION AND
SERVIOES FOR THE FURNISHING AND INSTALLATION OF ONE DEEP
5 WELL TURBINE PUMP WITH ELECTRIC MOTOR DRIV.ING UNIT AND
APPURTENANCES FOR THE CITY OF VERNON IN ACC ORDANCE WITH
6 SPECIFICATION NO. 130 HERETOFORE APPROVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section l: The City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby find and declare that the prevailing rate per diem
wages for labor, workmen and mechandes employed by contractor
or sub-contractor for the doing of any work set forth in
work Specification No. 130, or the Notice Inviting Sealed
Proposals or Bids for the doing of said work is as follows:

For any craft not included in the above list, the
minimum per diem wages shall be the general prevailing wages
for the locality, and shall not be less than $5.00 per day.
The foregoing schedule of per diem wages is based upon
a working day of eight (8) hours. The hourly wage rate shall
be the per diem rate divided by the aforementioned number of
hours constituting a working day.
Section 2: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
