RESOLUTION NO. 1109
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON~ FIXING
THE OOIlPENSATION FOR EMPltOYEES OF THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
DURING THE NATIONAL EMERGENCY, AND REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN
CONFLIOT WITH THIS RESOLUTION.
THE OITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the salaries of the personnel of the
Oity Engineering Department of the City of Vernon sb.all~ during
the national emergency, be as follows:
Francis Bates, City Engineer $ 600.00 per month.
W. B. Hollingsworth, Assistant
Oity Engineer 400.00 per month.
:Mary Eresa, Clerk 125.00 per month.
C. S. Forncrook, Draftsman 210.00 per month.
T. F. Evans, Draftsman 200.00 per month.
L. Tierney, Draftsman 200.00 per month.
J. T. Leggett, Engineer 225.00 per month.
A. W. Phillips, Surveyor & Ohief
Emergency Trainer in the Civil
Defense Oorps of the City of
Vernon 225.00 per month.
J. T. Jelfs, Inspector 150.00 per month.
H. O. Rogers, Inspector 200.00 per month.
J. O'Connor, Chainman 5.00 per day.
Section 2: The salaries for the City Engineering
Depar~ent's personnel, as set forth in Section 1 hereof, shall
be in full force and effect from and after the 1st day of July,
1942, and shall continue in effect during the national emergency.
Section 3: All Resolutions in conflict with this
Resolution are hereby repealed.
Section 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
ot this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall
remain in effect until further order of the Oity Oouncil.
