RESOLUTION NO. llGlO
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, FIXING
THE COMPENSATION FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY'S STREET AND WATER
DEPARTMENT, AND REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT WITH THIS
RESOLUTION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section l: That the salaries of a portion of the
personnel, of the City's street and Water:- Department, shall be
as follows:
John Mattiea, Foreman
$200.00 per month.
Lee Mendoza, Laborer, water
serviceman
5.00 per day.
5.00 per day.
C. A. Lopez, Laborer and water
serviceman
J. T. Kutchera, Blacksmith and
pumpman
Frank Ugino, street cleaning
department
Paul Ponzio, street cleaning
department
Luke Salerno, street cleaning
department
200.00 per month.
l.~OO per month.
l05.00 per month.
l05.00 per month.
190.00 per month.
R. P. Carper, pumpman
N. R. Shifflet, pumpman
l85.00 per month.
Section 2: All other persons acting as laborer, in
the street or water department, depending upon the type of work
they are now doing, BbA11 be segregated into four different
brackets and their compensation shall be as ,follows:
Bracket 1 $ 4.00 per day.
Bracket 2 4.40 per day.
Bracket 3 4.90 per day.
Bracket 4 5.40 per day.
Section 3: That 'the salaries for that portion of the
personnel, or street and water department, as set forth in
Sections 1 and 2 hereof shall be in full force and effect from
and after the 1st day of JUly, 1942, and shall continue until
further order of the City Council.

Section 4: All Resolutions in conflict with this
2 Resolution are hereby repealed.

Section 5:
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
4 of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall
5 remain in effect until further order of the City Council.
