THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, the City has heretofore publicly adver- tised for bids for the furnishing and delivering to the City of Vernon certain merchandise set forth in the Notice Invit- ing Sealed proposals or bids; and WHEREAS the Reliable Iron Foundry, Inc., has filed a bid for the furnishing and delivering of said mater- ial for the sum of Six hundred sixty-six dollars and twenty- nine cents ($666.29), less 2%, ten days: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: Section l. The City Attorney be and he is hereby 12 authorized to draw a contract in compliance with the Notice 13 Inviting Sealed Proposals and Bids and the Bid of the Con- 14 tractor covering the sale and purchase of the aforesaid 15 miscellaneous pipe and fittings. 16 Section 4.
