RESOLUTION NO. 1129
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, FIX-
ING RENTAL FOR HOUSING OF KEY MEN EMPLOYED IN THE CITY OF
VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon has constructed certain
houses upon city's property on Fruitland Road and Vernon Avenue,
and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary at this time to fix
rental to be paid by city employees for the use of said houses,
and
\~REAS the City Clerk has designated said houses
by number on said Fruitland Road and Vernon Avenue:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. That the rental is hereby fixed for
the houses located upon city property as follows:
The rental for house #3349 Fruitland Road and the
rental for house #3652 Vernon Avenue, is hereby fixed at $19.00
per month.
Section 2. The said rental so established by this
Resolution shall not include water, gas or electricity, but each
employee shall make arrangements for these public utilities.
Section 3.
The rental of said houses in said
Municipal Housing Unit shall be handled through the Office of
the City Clerk, who is charged with the duties of collecting
the rent, and snaIl report same quarterly.
Section 4. The City Clerk mf the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution
and thereupon and thereafter same shall be in full force and
effect.
