2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON,FIX-
ING THE COMPENSATION OF ROBERTA POXON AS DEPUTY CITY CLERK.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. That the salary of Roberta Poxon as
6 Deputy City Clerk (in place of Thomas C. Jackson, who left the
7 service of the city), beginning June 4, 1942 until further order
8 of the City Council, shall be $100.00 per month, payable month-
9 lYe

Section 2. That the salary of said Deputy City Clerk
11 shall be chargeable as follows:
12 To the City Water Department - $75.00 per month

To the Office of the City
Clerk
- 25.00 per month

Section 3. Resolution No. 1124 is hereby repealed.

Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the
17 passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same
18 shall be in full force and effect.
