2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF rrEE CITY OF VERNON, EXTEND-
ING TIME }<'OR THE COIvlPLETION OF TEE DRILLING OF WELLS FOR THE
3 CITY OF VERNON.
4 TEE crry COUNCIL 0:8' THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
5 V~lliREAS, the Barber-Dridge Building Corporation, Ltd.
6 has requested an extension of time to August 15, 1942 for the
7 completion of work under their contract dated September 24,
8 1941 for the drilling of two wells for the City of Vernon, and
9 WHEREAS it has been recommended by the City Engineer
10 of the City of Vernon that said request be granted:
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1. That the Barber-Bridge Building Corp.

Ltd. be and they are hereby granted an extension of time to
14
August 15, 1942 for the completion of the work under their
15
contract dated September 24, 1941, for drilling two wells for
the city of Vernon.

Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon

is hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution
19
and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force
20

and effect.
