1 RESOLUTION NO. 1137
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY C OUNCID OF THE CITY OF VERNON
FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF WATCHMEN EMPLOYED BY THE CITY
3 DURING TEE WAR EMERGENCY.
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE .IS
FOLLOWS:

Section 1. That each person employed as a watchman
7 during the national emergency shall receive a monthly salary
8 of $120.00 per month, payable semi-monthly.

Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
10
of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall
11
remain in full effect and force until further order of the
12
13
City Council.
Adopted and approved this 7th day of JUly, 1942.
