1 RESOLUTION NO. 1140
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, FIX-
ING THE COMPENSATION FOR~EMPLOYEES IN THE CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT
3 AND REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT WITH THIS RESOLUTION.
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. That the salary of the personnel of the
6 Fire Department of the city of Vernon, shall, from and after
7 July I, 1942, until further order of the Board be fixed as
8 follows:

Section 2. That the salaries of the Fire personnel,
as set forth in Sectioh 1 hereof, shall be in full force and
effect from and after the 1st day of JUly, 1942 and shall con-
tinue until further order of the City Council.
Section 3. That any resolution in conflict with this
resolution is hereby repealed.
Section 4. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution
and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
