RESOLUTION NO. 1141
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AP-
PROVING 1lliMORANDUWI OF AGREEMENT FOR ACCUMULATION OF 1/4 CENT
GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF 1~JOR IMPORTANCE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement has been presented
to be entered into with the State of California for accumulation

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Vernon that, under the provisions of Section 200 of
the Streets and Highways Code, the 1/4 cent gas tax allocated
for streets of major importance other than State highways be

accumulated for future expenditur~,and that said agreement be

and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor and the City
Clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf of the saId City,
said agreement to be binding upon the City upon its execution
by the authorized officials of the State.

The City ClerkDf the City of Vernon is hereby directed
to certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
