OF VERNON APPROVING A FRANCHISE BOND FIIED
BY SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY LTD.,
A CORPORATION. .

WHEREAS, on th~ 2lst'day of July, 1942, pursuant to
7 law. there was struck off, sold a.ndawarded by said City Counoll
to Southern Ca~lfornia Edison Company Ltd., a corporatlon, a.tran-
8 chise. of the right. or privl1ege for the period of possession by
Southern California. Edison Company Ltd., its successors or~ssignst
9 or the property leased to it by the City of Vernon under that
certaln agreement between said City or Vernon and Southern Call-
10 fornia Edlson,CompanYLtd., approval of Which agreement by theCit
of Vernon is provided for in that certain resolution of the City
11 o'f Vernon duly adopted by the City Counell of said Cit y at an
