RESOLUTION NO. ~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DECLARING THE PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES TO BE USED BY THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER IN CARRYING OUT THE C ONTBACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FIRE STATION BUILDING, PUMP HOUSE A}ID APPURTENANCES ON THE NORTH SIDE OF FRUITLAND AVENUE NEAR DOWNEY ROAD IN THE CITY OF VERNON, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATION NO. 134 HERETOFORE APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF T~~ CITY OF VERNON. THE CITY COUNCI.:LiOF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Work in 20 excess of the above mentioned respective standard days, on 21 Legal Holidays, and in excess of five standard working days in anyone week shall be permitted only upon compensation there- 22 23 24 for at the rate of one and. one-half times the basic Hourly Wage Rage here provided: 25 Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to said Labor Code of California, it shall be mandatory upon the Contractor to whom the c.ontract is awarded, and upon any Sub-contractor under him, to pay not less than the said specified rates to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics employed by them in the exe- cution of this contract, which rates shall be included in the 32 agreement with the successful bidder, regardless of any contractural 2. .",.
