A RESOLUTION OF TKE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPT-
ING WELL No.8, COMPLETED BY BARBER-BRIDGE DRILLING CORPORATION
UNDER SPECIFICATION No. 127.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, the City has here~fore entered into a con-
tract with the Barber-Bridge Drilling Corporation to complete
certain wells within the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS the City Engineer of the City of Vernon has
notified the City authorities in writing that said Barber-Bridge
Drilling Cerporation has completed their work in accordance
withtontract,Specification No. 127 and Notice Inviting Sealed
Propesals or Bids, and recommends that the City accept Well
No.8, said well being now completed.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1.
That the City Council of the City ot

Vernon does hereby accep~ Well NO.8, the same having been fully
completed in accordance withllontract,SHcification No. 127 and
Notice Inviting Sealed Proposals or Bids, as evidenced by the
communication of the City Engineer of said City.

Sec1;ion 2. That the demand accompanying said recom-

mendation of the City Engineer in the sum of $14,168.79 for the
24

doing of said work be, and the same is hereby approved, aaid sum
of $14,168.79 being the full contract price for the doing ot said
ork less 10%to">be withheld in accordance with the contract.
Section 3.
'fhe City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereatter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
