RESOLUTION NO. 1154
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON,
TRANSFERRING FROM THE E]JIERGENCY FU~1) TO THE WATER DEPARTMENT,
THE SUM OF $299,256.69. .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT, WHERFA.S There has been expended by the Water De-
partment during the fiscal year 1941..1942 for various improve-
ments consisting of the purchasing of land and erection of

municipal hDuses, and
WHEREAS, the sum of $299,256.69 has been paid from the
General Fund for said purposes, and

WHEREAS it is the desire of the City Council that the
Water department be charged with the upkeep of said housing
project and also the land so purchased, and
WHEREAS it is the desire" of the City Council to event-
ually charge a port~on of said sum to the Fire Dep8rtment when
the Fire Department project is completed:
Section 2: This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and aft'r the 30th day of .run'6,iL~42,;.-
Section 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same mall
remain in effect until further order of the City Council.
