RESOLUTION NO. 1155
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY OF VERNON, TRANS-
FERRING THE SUM OF $IO,OOO.OO FR9M THE LIGHT AND POWER CONTIN*
GENCY FUND TO THE" LIGHT & Po-WER FUND.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE .AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS the City Council has heretofore transferred
from the Light & Power Fund to a reserve fund for contingencies
that may grow out of the operation of the light and power plant,

and

WHEREAS the time has lapsed where such contingency

could possibly occur,and

WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Vernon desires
that said sum of $IO,OOO.OO be transferred to the Light and

Power Fund:

NOW, THEP..EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1& That the. City Treasurer be and he is hereby
15

authorized and instructed to transfer from the reserve or con-
17
tingency fund of the Light a.nd Power Department all moneys now in
said contingency fund to the Light and Power Fund.
Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall
remain in full force and effect.
