A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON GRANTING
AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR LAYNE & BOWLER CORPORATION TO FUllNISH
ONE DEEP WELL TURBINE PUMP.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

THAT, WHEREAS, the City has heretofore entered into a
contract with LAYNE & BOWLER CORPORATION to turnish to said city

one deep well turbine pump, and
WHEREAS said LAYNE & BOWLER CORPORATION cannot deliver

same to the city on account of priority rating of said City,
and
WHEREAS, LAYNE & BOWLER CORPORATION has requested an
extension of time until February 1, 1943 for the furnishing of
said deep well turbine pump, and.
WHEREAS the City Engineer of said City has recommended
that said extension of time be granted:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1:
That Layne & Bowler Corporation be granted
an extension of time to Februar~ 1, 1943 for the furnishing to
said City as per contract one deep well turbine pump.
Section 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effeet.
Adopted and approved this 15th day of December, 1942.
