RESOLUTION NO. 1180
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROV-
ING AND ACCEPTING THE DELIVERY FROM JOHNS-MANVILLE SALES CORP-
ORATION OF ALL ASBESTOS-CElffiNT PIPE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

THAT, WHEREAS the City Engineer has reported that the
Johns-Manville Sales Corporation has delivered to the City of
Vernon all asbestos-cement pipe required under its contract with
the city, and has recommended that the same be accepted:

NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
That all asbestos-cement pipe hereto-
fore delivered to the City by the Johns-Manville Sales Corpo-
ration be and the s~me is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and tmreupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

I, T. J. FURLONG, City Clerk of the City of Vernon,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 1180, was
duly adopted by the Vity Council of the City of Vernon, and ap-
proved by the Mayor of said city at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 2nd day of February, 1943.
