THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

THAT, '~REAS the said Mary Loretta O'Donnell and M. W.
O'Donnell have ten~ered to the City of Vernon the attached deed
for certain property to be used for road purposes within the
city, and

WhEREAS the City of Vernon is desirous of accepting same:

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. That the City of Vernon does hereby accept
the attached deed from Mary Loretta O'Donnell and M. W. O'Donnell

to the City of Vernon.
Section 2. The City Clerk is authorized, instructed

and empowered to have same recorded in the name of the City.

Section 3.
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is

hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and
thereupon and thereafter same shall be in full force and effect.

the County of Los Angeles, and that portion of that certain parcel at land shown
as Lot 10 on map filed in Book 26, page 5, of Record of Surveys, in the office
of said recorder, all within a strip of land 80 feet wide, lying 40 feet on each

M. W. O'DONNELL and MARY L. O'DONNELL, being first
du1~ sworn, depose and say:
That they are the owners of the property described in
that certain deposit receipt executed by them on April 21, 1923
in which a copy of the original was reqorded at the request of
the Terminal Realt~ Co., June 11:" 1928, at 11:00 A.M. in Book
7182 at page 83 Otficial Records ot Los Angeles Count~, California;
that the said H. M. Weloh referred to in the deposit receipt has
never paid any money whatever; that there is no contract now be-
tween the parties and that the property is now owned tree and
clear by the undersigned.
