A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON EMPLOYING
E. R. YOUNG to assist THE CITY ATTORNEY IN AN ACTION NOW PENDING
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF TEE STATE OF CALIFORNIA IN AND FOR THE
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, ENTITLED: "CENTRAL 1~NUFACTURING DISTRICT,
INC.> A corporation, ET AL, VS. CITY OF VERNON, A MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION, ET AL, Number 483 382.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1.
That E. R. Young, Attorney at Law, be

and he is hereby employed by the City of Vernon for the purpose
of assisting the City Attorney in the conduct of the litigation
now pending before the Superior Court of the State of California,
in and for the County of Los Angeles, en~itled: Central Manufact-
uringDistrict., inc. a corporation, et al vs. City of Vernon,
a Municipal Corporation, et al, Number 483382.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Vernon

does hereby agree to compensate the said E. R. Young in a reason-
able amount for all services rendered in the above-entitled matter.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of VeIn on is here-
by directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
