RESOLUTION NO. 1191
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING
TEE C OMPENSATI ON OF FRED HURLEY, AS BOOKKEEPER FOR THE LIGHT,
POWER AND 'WATER DEPARTMENT ANE SECRETARY OF THE FIRE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF VERNON, AND REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT
WITH THIS RESOLUTION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the salary of Fred Hurley, as book-
keeper for the Light and Power and Water Department of the City
of Vernon and as Secretary of the Fire Commission from and after
the ~ day of February, 1943, and the further order of the City
Council, be fixed as follows:
As Bookkeeper for the Water Department
$125.00 per month;
As Bookkeeper for the Light and Power Department
$125.00 per month;
As Secretary of the Fire Commission
$10.00 per month
Section 2. That the salary of the said Fred Hurley
shall be in full compensation tor all services rendered the City
and shall supercede any pDrtion of any resolution affecting the
said Fred Hurley as to compensation, heretofore adopted.
Section 3. The compensation of the said Fred Hurley
shall begin on the ~ day of February, 1943 and shall continue
until further order of the City Council.
Section 4. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full foree and
effect.
