1 RESOLUTION NO. 1197
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AUTHOR-
IZING THE CITY ENGINEER OF THE CITY OF VERNON TO ISSUE A WORK
3 ORDER TO LAYER AND BOWLER CORPORATION FOR ADDITIONAL INSTALLA-
TION IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATION NO. 130 OF THE CITY OF
4 VERNON.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1.
The City Engineer of the City of Vernon

be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to issue to Layne
and Bowler Corporation, in the name of the City, a work order
as follows:

"You are hereby authorized and directed to furnish
and install twenty (20') feet of additional 12 inch, 43 pound

eduction pipe, together with necessary shafting, tubing, air
13
line, etc., complete, so as to complete said installation.
This work is to be done as extra work as provided in your con-
tract with the City of Vernon under Specification No. 130, at a
price not to exceed $259.00, plus California Sales Tax in the
sum of $6.57. To this you have heretofore agreed in your letter
of March 27, 1943."

Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution
and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
