MSOLUTION NO. 1212
A. RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON~ FIXING
THE COlLPENSA.TION FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT AS
OF JULY 1, .1943 UNTIL FURTHER ORDER OF THE .CITY COUNCIL, AND
REP.EALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT WITH THIS RESOLUTION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.:, That the salary of the personnel of the
Fire Departmen~ of the City of Vernon, from and after the 1st
d$.y ofJ'uly, 1943 until further order of the Cl ty Council of
the City of Vernon, shall be fued as follows:
Fire Chief - - - - - - - $ 375.00 per month
4 Captains - - - - - - - 235.00 per month
1 Inspector
2$6.00 per month
229.50 per month
213.00 per month
213.00 per month
213.00 per month
207.50 per month
75.00 per month"
10.00 per month

.111 hosemen in the employ of the City ot Vernon shall
received a salary of $180.00 per month until they have been em-
ployed by said city tor a period of one year; $190.00 per month
until they have been employed for a period of two years, and
$200.00 per month thereafter until further order of the City
Council of the City of Vernon.
Section 2: That the sa1ar.ies of th~ Fire Department
personnel as set forth in Section 1 hereof, shall be in full torce
and effect fro~ and after July 1, 1943, and shall continue until
the further order of the City Council.
Section 3: Resolution No. 1172 and all other resolutions

1 in conflict with this resolution are hereby repealed.

Section 4;
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
3 hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and
4 thereupon and thereafter the same shall be 1n f'u~l force and
5 effect.
