A RESOLUTION OF TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON CON-
SENTING TO AND APPROVING THE ACTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVIS-
ORS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES" STATE OF CALIFORNIA IN
ADOPTING A RESOLUTION DECLARING BOYLE AVENUE AND PQRTIONS
OF INTERSECTING STREETS FROM SLAUSON AVENUE TO THE SOUTHERN
BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF VERNON A PART OF THE COUNfi SYSTEM OF
HIGHWAYS OF SAID COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT. WHEREAS the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Los Angeles, State of California, did on October 5, 1943
declare Boyle Avenue and portions of intersecting streets from
Slauson Avenue to the Southern Boundaries of the City of Vernon
a part of the County system of Highways of said County of Los
Angeles, to be improved with cement, concrete curb, walk and
gutter, curtain wall, asphalt concrete pavement, drainage
structures and cement pipe drain, as set forth in said reso-
lution; and
WHEREAS the Board of Supervisors of said County has
requested the consent of the City Council of the City of Vernon
to perform said acts:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RES OLVED:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby consent to and approve the action of the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles in declaring Boyle Ave-
nue and a portion of intersecting streets from Slauson Avenue
to the southern boundaries of the City of Vernon to be a part
of the County system of highways of Los Angeles County, as pro-
vided in Sections 1700 to 1702 inclusive of the Street and High-
way Code of the State of California.
Section 2.
The City Council of the City of Vernon
does further consent to the improvement by said County of Los
Angeles of Boyle Avenue and portions of intersecting streets

Section 5. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
is hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution
and thereupon and thereafter the same shallbe in full force
