2 A RESOLUTION OF TEE CITY COUNCIL~ OF THE CITY OF VERNON. ACCEPTING
DEED FROM CENTRAL MANUFACTURING DISTRICT, INC.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

5 THAT, WHEREAS the Central Manufacturing District, Inc.,
6 has tendered to the City of Vernon, the attached deed for certain
7 property to be used for public purposes within the City, and
8 WHEREAS, the City of Vernon is desirous of accepting
9 same:

10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1. That the City of Vernon does hereby accept
the attached deed from Central Manufacturing District, Inc.
Section 2. The City Clerk is authorized, instructed
and empowered to have same recorded in the name of the City.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to certify
to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter
same shall be in full force and effect.

lying within the City property at the northwest
corner of Fruitland Avenue and Downey Road.

Our Escrow No. 2850.
Attention: Mr. Francis Bates,
Ci ty Engineer.
In connection with the sale by J. B. Leonis, Inc., of that
portion of Lot 35 of the 500 Acre Tract of the Los Angeles
l<'rui tland Association west of the City of Los Angeles' Right of
Way through said lot, the right of wey of' the Central Manufactur-
ing District, Inc., was also sold to the Universel Match Corpor-
ation.
Inasmuch as the Centrel Manufacturing District, Inc.,
Right of Way now tennina,tes with the westerly line of Lot 35,
this Company desired to convey to the City of Vemon that portion
of the Right of Way through Lots 35 and 36 of the 500 Acre Tract,
heretofore purchased by the City of Vernon.
Therefore, I 8Jll enclosing grant deed conveying the Right of
Way last above mentioned to the City ofVemon, which the Central
Manufacturing District has requested th!:l,t I forward to you.
