A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AUTHOR-
IZING AND INSTRUCTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A
BILL OF SALE TO Th'E SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY TRANS-
FERRING ONE St1BSTATI()N LOCATED IN THE VAULT OF NORRIS STAMPING
AND :MANUFACTUlRING CO"

THAT, WHEREAS" the Southern California Edison Company
has requested the City of Vernon to transfer .to them certain
personal property belonging to the City" which it is necessary
to transfer to some subscribers on the system in the City of

Vernon, and

WHERI~ the legal ,spect of same has been approved
by Messrs. Guthrie & Darling" attorneys for the Vernon Indus-
trial Development Association, and the City Attorney of the
City of Vernon:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1" That the Mayor and the City Clerk of the
City of Vernon be, a nd they are" hereby authorized and instructed

to sign the attached bill of sale for and on behalf of the City
of Vernon" said :Sill of sale transferring all property set forth
in said Bill of Sale to the Southern C al ifornia .Eciison Co. Ltd.

Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution
and thereupon and thereafter the same shall qe in full force
and effect"
