A RESOLUTION OF TIlE CrTY COUNCIL OIi' THE CITY OF VERNON AUTHOR-
IZING AND INSTRUCTION THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECU'rE A
BILL OF SALE TO 'rHE SOUTBEHN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY TRANS-
FERRING ONE SUBSfIIA11ION LOCATED IN 'THE VAULT 01:<' UTILITY TRAILER
COMPANY"
THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF VE~on'JON DOES RESOLVE AS I<'OLLOWS:
THAT WHEREAS, the Southern California Edison Company
has requested the City of Vernon to transfer to them certain
personal property belonging to the city, which it is necessary
to transfer to some subscribers on the system in the City of
Vernon, and
WHEREAS, the ~gal aspect of same has been approved
by Messrs. Gutherie & Darling, attorneys for the Vernon Indus-
trial Development Association, ahd the City ~ttorney of the
City of Vernon:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I T RES or... VED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and the City Clerk of the
City of Vernon be, and they are hereby authorized and instructed
to sign the attached bill of sale for and on behalf of the City
of Vernon, said Bill of Sale transferring all property set forth
in said Bill of Sale to the I::>outhern California Edison Co. Ltd"
Section 2" The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution
and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 5th day of December,1944"
