2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON. FIXING
THE COMPENSATION FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT AS
3 OF1 January 1, 1945, UNTIL FURTHER ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL,
AND REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT WITH THIS RESOLUTION"

TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. That the salaries of the personnel of the
7 Fire Department of the City of Vernon from and after January
8 1, 1945 until further order of the City 60uncil of the City
9 of Vernon, shall be fixed as follows:

21 All hosemen in the employ of the City shall received a
22 salary of $195,,00 per month until they have been employed by the

City for a period of one year; $205.00 per month until they
have been employed for a period of two years, and $220.00 per month
thereafter until further order of the City Council of the City
of Vernon.
Section 2: That the salaries of the F'ire Department
Personnel as set forth in Section 1 hereof, shall be in full

force and effect from and after January 1, 1945 and shall con-
tinue until the further order of the City Council.

Section 3. Resolution No. 1212 and all other
resolutions in conflict with this resolution are hereby re-
pealed.
Section 4" The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
is hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolu-
tion and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full
foree and effect.
