RESOLUTION NO. 1268
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROV-
ING SALE OF REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN ORDINANCE NO. 580.
THE CITY COUNC IL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the sale of real property described
in Ordinance No. 580 to GIOIA BUTTRESS
a single woman, and
-
P. E. McCLELLAN, a widower, eacho an undivided one-half interest,
at a price of forty cents (40t) per square foot, making a total
price to be paid to the City of Vernon for said property
$44,359.20, be and the same is hereby ~pproved; said property
so sold containing 2.54587 acres.
Section 2: The City Clerk is herebY,instructed to
open an escrow for the sale of said property 'fld is hereby author)'h
ized to pay the sellers' costs which usually govern sales of real
property in this community.
Section 3:
The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City
of Vernon are hereby authorized and instructed and empowered to
execute a grant deed for said property in tpe name of the City
of Vernon to the persons hereinbefore named.
Section 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and. thereupon and there-.
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
